Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit
You may qualify for an annual tax credit of up to $10,000 per qualifying apprentice to a maximum of $40,000 over a 48 month period.

Ontario Research and Development Tax Credit (ORDTC)
The Ontario Research and Development Tax Credit (ORDTC) is a non-refundable tax credit. It is available to corporations that carry out scientific research & experimental development (SR&ED) work in Ontario. The ORDTC replaced the Ontario SR&ED tax deduction for tax years ending after December 31, 2008.

Your Ontario corporation may qualify for a 20% refundable tax credit for expenses related to the production of a sound recording or music video.

Ontario Tax Exemption for Commercialization (OTEC)
OTEC is aimed at supporting innovation in Ontario’s economy by encouraging the commercialization of intellectual property which has been developed by qualifying Canadian universities or colleges. OTEC applies to newly established corporations in priority areas, offering a refund of corporate income tax and corporate minimum tax paid for a qualifying corporation’s first ten taxation years.
