Ontario is home to 11 assembly plants operated by five of the world's top automakers: Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, and Toyota.

We also have 300+ parts manufacturers, including homegrown giants ABC Group, Linamar, Magna International and The Woodbridge Group, as well as foreign-based companies such as Aisin Seiki, Amino, Brose, Dana, Denso, Johnson Controls, Lear, Nemak and Wegu.

New manufacturers from Europe, Japan and the U.S. are constantly locating here. A recent addition? Michigan-based Inteva Products. Its new Whitby facility will initially produce cockpit and headliner assemblies for the Chevrolet Camaro and Buick Regal.

Investments by assemblers and parts manufacturers have topped $10 billion in the last six years alone - including a recent $100 million+ investment by GM to increase production of its popular Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain models.
