The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is responsible for ensuring ski lifts and amusement rides are safe.

In fact, at the start of every ski and amusement ride season, existing ski lifts and amusement devices must renew operational permits and be inspected by TSSA to ensure that they are in safe working order.
