Tarion Warranty Corporation is an independent, not-for-profit corporation established under the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act to administer Ontario’s new home warranty program. The organization was created in 1976 under its former name, the Ontario New Home Warranty Plan. To date, more than 1.46 million homes have been enrolled with the plan.
Tarion’s role is to ensure that new homeowners in Ontario receive the new home warranty protection that they are entitled to by law.
