Travel Industry Council of Ontario

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) administers the Travel Industry Act, 2002 and regulates all Ontario-registered travel retailers and wholesalers to ensure consumer protection.

TICO also administers the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund, which can reimburse consumers for travel services not received if the registrant or its supplier, such as an airline or cruise line, becomes insolvent or declares bankruptcy.
