Decisions now available on CanLII

All decisions and select orders released by the Tribunal on or after April 1, 2012 will be
available to the public on the websites of the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII) and Quicklaw-LexisNexis (Quicklaw). The Tribunal’s website provides decisions and orders from the fiscal year 2011-2012 (April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012) that are not available on CanLII, in addition to providing a number of earlier decisions and orders.

Other decisions made in previous years are available on Quicklaw. If you need access to a
particular decision not available on the Tribunal’s website or CanLII, and do not have access to Quicklaw, please contact the Tribunal at (416) 314-4260 or 1-800-255-2214.

On July 1, 2011, the Licence Appeal Tribunal began hearing liquor and gaming related matters
previously heard by the Board of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Final decisions made by AGCO after January 2007 are available on CanLII and all final decisions of AGCO are available on Quicklaw.

For certain types of appeals, the names of Applicants are listed by the Tribunal’s file number
and appeal type, e.g. 4592-ONHWPA.
