Statistics

The Tribunal collects statistics on a monthly basis and publishes the following four charts:

Chart 1 - Appeals received to date by appeal type – fiscal year 2011-2012, as compared to the two previous fiscal years

Chart 2 - Decision results by appeal type – fiscal year 2011-2012 only

Chart 3 - Total appeals received to date by appeal type – fiscal year 2011-2012 only

Chart 4 - Turnaround time, averaged for all appeal types – previous two fiscal years and fiscal year 2011-2012

The linked pages show these four charts for fiscal year 2011-2012 and the previous two fiscal years. The Tribunal's fiscal year runs from the beginning of April to the end of March.

* Note: As of July 1, 2011, pursuant to the Good Government Act, 2011, matters previously appealed to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) became appealable to the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

For the fiscal year 2011-2012 (April 2011 to March 2012), the Tribunal will not include numbers from these matters in its year-to-year comparisons of the number of appeals received, or in its turn-around time reports to allow meaningful comparisons to previous years' reports to be made.

Numbers from AGCO matters will be included in the Decision Results Statistics chart and the chart showing the Total Number of Appeals received for the current fiscal year.
