OIC Appointments
The Tribunal's members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. Initial appointments are for a two-year term. There is an opportunity to renew the appointment for two further terms, one of three years and one of five years. One member is designated as chair. If a member's term ends during a hearing, the member remains on the Tribunal for the purpose of completing that particular hearing.
The Tribunal's Chair assigns members to hearings. If more than one person is assigned, the Chair designates which member will chair the panel.
A list of the current appointees and more information regarding appointments is available on the
Public Appointments Secretariat website
